Responsibilities
- Own the roadmap from architecture to model readiness and integration.
- Guide technical architecture with a focus on biological relevance.
- Translate biological needs into model and evaluation requirements.
- Develop reasoning engines for the AI Scientist platform.
- Source and shape use cases by interfacing with teams and end-users.
- Communicate strategic direction and scientific results to stakeholders.
Requirements
- PhD, MS, or equivalent experience in computational biology, machine learning, or related fields.
- Industry-leading expertise in modern LLMs and multimodal modeling.
- Deep experience in computational biology and AI-enabled drug discovery.
- Ability to work with scientists to define use cases and translate needs into technical plans.
- Strong judgment around biological reasoning and model limitations.
- Experience leading technical teams through complex scientific problems.
- Excellent communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
