Base Salary
$89k - $134k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop approaches and countermeasures for emerging threats to embedded systems.
- Develop hardware and software prototypes demonstrating advanced capabilities.
- Perform hands-on security assessments of embedded systems.
- Develop software for interfacing with and controlling lab equipment for data collection, measurement, and analysis.
- Research and apply academic and industry advances in embedded security analysis and protection.
- Collaborate with academic partners to improve embedded security education.
Requirements
- Typically requires less than one year of related experience with a related bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of related education and work experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field.
- Must be a U.S. citizen capable of obtaining and maintaining a DoD Secret security clearance.
- Experience developing and analyzing hardware, embedded, and/or IoT systems.
- Programming experience in Python, Rust, Java, C++, or C.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Preferred qualifications include a BS, MS, or PhD and/or two or more years of related experience.
- Preferred experience includes signal or image processing, machine learning, instrumentation and measurement, software-defined radio, wireless or network communications, hardware components, circuits, PCB layout, embedded reverse engineering, exploitation, cryptography, side-channel analysis, fault injection, and integrated-circuit attacks.
