Base Salary
$89k - $134k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop approaches and countermeasures for emerging embedded-system threats.
- Develop hardware and software prototypes demonstrating advanced capabilities.
- Perform hands-on embedded-system security assessments and vulnerability research.
- Develop software to interface with and control laboratory equipment for data collection, measurement, and analysis.
- Apply academic and industry advances in embedded security analysis and protection techniques.
- Collaborate with academic partners on embedded security education.
Requirements
- Typically requires less than 1 year of related experience with a related bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of related education and work experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field.
- Must be a U.S. citizen capable of obtaining and maintaining a DoD Secret security clearance.
- Experience developing and analyzing hardware, embedded systems, and/or IoT systems.
- Programming experience in Python, Rust, Java, C++, or C.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Preferred qualifications include a BS, MS, or PhD and/or 2+ years of related experience.
- Preferred experience includes signal or image processing, machine learning, board-level instrumentation, software-defined radio, wireless or network communications, hardware reverse engineering, cryptography, side-channel analysis, fault injection, and IoT penetration testing.
