Base Salary
$87k - $198k/yr
Responsibilities
- Automate cybersecurity workflows such as vulnerability scanning, patch orchestration, continuous monitoring, and repetitive SOC activities.
- Integrate security tools through APIs and develop automated security playbooks.
- Embed security metrics and controls into CI/CD delivery platforms using shift-left security, code scanning, container scanning, and policy gates.
- Implement software supply chain risk management and protect deployment paths.
- Secure cloud-native delivery platforms with admission controls and network policies.
- Apply identity and access management, least privilege, secrets management, and secure communication controls.
- Maintain compliance with enterprise security standards and harden cloud-native environments.
Requirements
- Experience with Linux, Windows Server, and macOS.
- Experience with CrowdStrike, Splunk, or ServiceNow monitoring and logging tools.
- Experience with Chainguard images or hardened container base images.
- Experience with Sonatype Nexus or JFrog Artifactory.
- Experience with GitHub DevSecOps workflows, including Actions, CI security jobs, branch protection, CODEOWNERS, required reviews, secret scanning, and Dependabot.
- Experience securing AWS, Docker, or Kubernetes delivery platforms.
- Experience with HTTPS, TLS, SSL, SSH, SSO, MFA, RBAC, and identity federation.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree plus at least 1 year of software development, DevSecOps, or cyber automation experience, or 5+ years of such experience in lieu of a degree.
- Preferred experience automating cybersecurity workflows using least privilege, secrets management, and DoD or IC security principles.
