Responsibilities
- Support the operation and further development of the automated hosting environment for Projektron BCS.
- Maintain existing hosting virtual machines and instances.
- Communicate with the data center service provider.
- Help migrate the cloud environment to container technologies and improve resource utilization.
- Create and implement technical concepts for containerization and integration with existing administration structures.
- Contribute to securing and hardening web servers and operating systems as part of IT security.
Requirements
- Hold a good or very good degree in an IT-related field, an informatics vocational qualification, or equivalent knowledge gained through professional experience.
- Have experience administering an automated hosting environment.
- Have experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or similar container tools.
- Have experience administering web applications and Linux server systems.
- Have knowledge of Nginx, Apache, HAProxy, Ansible, and Puppet.
- Have very good German-language skills at C1 level or higher.
