Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated tests for software functionality, performance, reliability, and system behavior.
- Perform black-box, white-box, exploratory, regression, and workflow testing.
- Develop, modify, and execute test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts under guidance from senior staff.
- Analyze test results, document defects, reproduce issues, and verify fixes.
- Maintain test cases, execution results, defect records, and other testing documentation.
- Collaborate with development engineers to investigate software issues and provide feedback on testability.
- Contribute to QA process improvements, including AI-assisted testing, test optimization, and modern automation frameworks.
- Perform fully manual testing when automation is not feasible or appropriate.
- Support software quality integration across systems involving computation, data acquisition, and data processing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
- 0–1 year of relevant SQA work experience.
- Understanding of software testing methodologies, procedures, and the product development lifecycle.
- Experience with C, C++, and/or C#; strong C# programming skills are emphasized.
- Working knowledge of Linux, Unix, or Windows.
- Working knowledge of Visual Studio.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Working knowledge of computer operation and computer hardware principles.
- Hands-on experience with AI-driven projects or applying AI tools to workflows, automation, or process efficiency.
- Strong written and oral communication, collaboration, organization, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
