Responsibilities
- Develop test plans and implement tests for firmware and robotic platforms.
- Build sustainable, automation-first testing solutions.
- Advocate for firmware quality, communicate quality concerns, and assess defect impact.
- Document testing results, test plans, reports, and formalized release documentation.
- Collaborate with software, firmware, electrical, mechanical, and internal customer teams.
- Support testing across products including internal tools, diluters, plate handling, and liquid-handling robotics.
Requirements
- Four-year degree from a regionally accredited university in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Technical programming expertise in C#, C++, and Python.
- Ability to recognize and prioritize work with the greatest impact on quality.
- Ability to communicate effectively with varied technical teams and internal customers.
- Ability to produce test-related documentation.
- Experience testing robotic platforms is preferred.
- Laboratory experience is preferred.
