Responsibilities
- Develop test plans and effective quality strategies.
- Implement automated and manual software tests.
- Build sustainable, automation-first testing solutions.
- Execute API and automated UI testing.
- Assess and prioritize defects and quality risks.
- Document test results, test plans, reports, and formalized release documentation.
- Collaborate with software, firmware, hardware, marketing, internal customers, external customers, developers, and testers.
- Interact with robotic platforms to support high-quality customer solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited university in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience as a software tester and/or programmer.
- Technical programming expertise, including object-oriented programming and unit testing.
- Experience designing effective quality strategies.
- API testing experience with tools such as Postman or ReadyAPI.
- Automated UI testing experience with tools such as Cypress, TestComplete, or Ranorex.
- Manual test execution experience.
- Ability to recognize and prioritize work with the greatest quality impact.
- Strong communication and technical documentation skills.
- Experience testing robotic platforms is preferred.
- Laboratory experience is preferred.
