Responsibilities
- Develop test plans and implement automated and manual software tests.
- Build sustainable automation-first testing solutions.
- Advocate for software quality, identify quality risks, and assess defect impact.
- Perform API testing and automated UI testing.
- Execute manual tests and document testing results.
- Prepare test plans, test reports, and formalized release documentation.
- Collaborate with software, firmware, hardware, marketing, testers, developers, and internal and external customers.
- Test software associated with robotic platforms, internal tools, device drivers, APIs, web-based UIs, and IDEs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited university in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience as a software tester and/or programmer.
- Technical programming expertise, including object-oriented programming and unit testing.
- Experience designing effective quality strategies.
- API testing experience with tools such as Postman or ReadyAPI.
- Automated UI testing experience with tools such as Cypress, TestComplete, or Ranorex.
- Manual test execution experience.
- Ability to recognize and prioritize work with the greatest quality impact.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Experience testing robotic platforms is preferred.
- Laboratory experience is preferred.
