Responsibilities
- Build and maintain automated systems for detecting and enforcing business misuse.
- Develop and release scalable backend features and solutions for high-volume fraud-detection data processing.
- Maintain and improve React-based internal investigation tooling.
- Troubleshoot software, fix bugs, and optimize database performance.
- Participate in technical discussions and learn Infrastructure as Code best practices.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists to integrate detection models.
- Work across the development lifecycle in a cross-functional team with Product, Design, and Data Science.
Requirements
- Experience in full-stack web development through commercial work or a strong portfolio, with a backend focus.
- Solid knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Solid understanding of backend development with Node.js.
- Understanding of SQL and NoSQL database concepts, including PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
- Familiarity with component-based frontend development, ideally React.
- Hands-on experience with AWS or GCP.
- Interest in applied AI integration with backend engineering is a nice-to-have.
- A collaborative, feedback-oriented, ambitious, and improvement-focused approach.
