Base Salary
$160k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, deliver, and test innovative Android applications for consumer banking use cases.
- Own the technical direction and delivery of client engagements while providing hands-on architecture and coding leadership.
- Lead and mentor engineers to improve autonomy, effectiveness, and delivery quality.
- Collaborate with clients, product owners, designers, users, technologists, and leadership to align technical solutions with business priorities.
- Break down complex problems and develop elegant, production-quality solutions.
- Promote strong software architecture, development practices, and adoption of useful technologies.
Requirements
- 10–12+ years of experience designing and building complex, commercial-grade software systems.
- 4+ years of experience leading Agile teams.
- Expert-level experience building production Android applications with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
- Experience in consumer banking, including account management and onboarding.
- Familiarity with RESTful API and third-party library integration.
- Understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and best practices.
- Knowledge of mobile continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Preferred: experience with fraud management, KYC, AML, regulatory reporting, on-device biometrics, or published Google Play Store applications.
- Preferred: college degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: experience using Claude, Claude Code, Copilot, or similar AI-assisted development tools responsibly.
