Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and APIs.
- Build responsive, intuitive, and accessible user interfaces using modern front-end technologies.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions with cross-functional teams.
- Participate in architecture discussions, recommend technical improvements, and conduct code reviews.
- Develop automated tests and support application reliability, maintainability, and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and production issues across the full technology stack.
- Maintain technical documentation, source code repositories, and deployment procedures.
- Collaborate with the City's Cyber Command to meet security accreditation requirements.
- Support existing applications and contribute to new development and technology initiatives.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field and four years of related full-time experience, or an associate degree in a relevant field and six years of related experience.
- Alternatively, a bachelor's degree in any field and eight years of related experience, or equivalent education and/or experience.
- Experience must include a specialization in a relevant technology, process, methodology, and/or domain.
- Strong hands-on experience developing full-stack web applications, APIs, and user interfaces.
- Ability to collaborate with technical teams, project stakeholders, and City agencies.
