Responsibilities
- Own test planning, test strategy, and automation coverage for embedded wireless features.
- Design, develop, debug, and maintain Python/Pytest automated tests for functional and non-functional testing.
- Use Cursor or similar AI-assisted development tools for test development, debugging, code analysis, and automation.
- Automate, monitor, and improve test execution within continuous integration pipelines.
- Investigate complex technical issues, perform root-cause analysis, and collaborate with developers to resolve defects.
- Communicate test results, progress, coverage gaps, and quality risks to developers, product managers, and stakeholders.
- Identify customer use cases with application engineers and improve testing efficiency, reliability, and product quality.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience in software testing, test automation, or software engineering.
- Strong Python programming skills, including debugging and maintaining complex code and reviewing AI-generated solutions.
- Hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions.
- Strong proficiency with AI-assisted software development tools such as Cursor or similar technologies.
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies, test design, risk-based testing, and test coverage analysis.
- Experience with version control workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and independent-ownership skills.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Preferred experience includes embedded systems, firmware testing, embedded C/C++, Bluetooth Low Energy or other IoT technologies, hardware-in-the-loop testing, test automation frameworks, AI-assisted engineering workflows, or ISTQB certification.
