Responsibilities
- Design, architect, and implement defensive security controls for AWS, Windows, and Kubernetes environments.
- Advise on cloud IAM, network security, network policy, and orchestration technologies.
- Maintain engineering and security documentation and provide employee security training and awareness.
- Research and recommend automated system administration approaches that improve security and stability at scale.
- Mentor security engineers and promote secure architecture and design practices.
- Lead architectural reviews and drive consensus on security design decisions across teams.
Requirements
- Experience designing enterprise security architectures and working with Linux environments.
- Approximately five years of experience in an engineering-focused role at a medium to large enterprise.
- Experience mentoring or guiding other engineers.
- Scripting and automation experience with tools such as PowerShell, Bash, Docker, Terraform, HashiCorp Stack, and Kubernetes.
- Working knowledge of Linux Platform as a Service environments and modern zero trust architecture patterns.
- Ability to explain complex technical topics clearly and collaborate with technical teams.
- Technology or gaming industry experience is preferred.
