Base Salary

$142k - $215k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop C++ software interfacing the Cruise autonomy stack with vehicle sensors and custom hardware.
  • Design, document, and implement scalable, low-latency runtime software for Linux-based systems.
  • Improve software reliability through requirements generation, continuous integration, automated testing, issue tracking, and code reviews.
  • Collaborate across teams, mentor developers, and deliver complex projects through incremental development.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience writing production-quality software.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or relevant work experience.
  • Experience with C++11 or later and applying software development best practices.
  • Preferred qualifications include 5+ years of production software experience, embedded Linux/POSIX development, production software testing and delivery, safety-critical development, embedded build systems, sensor development, networking, ROS or other robotics middleware, additional programming languages, and QNX or VxWorks.
