Responsibilities
- Develop C++ software interfacing the Cruise autonomy stack with vehicle sensors and custom hardware.
- Design, document, and implement scalable, low-latency runtime software for Linux-based systems.
- Improve software reliability through requirements generation, continuous integration, automated testing, issue tracking, and code reviews.
- Collaborate across teams, mentor developers, and deliver complex projects through incremental development.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience writing production-quality software.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or relevant work experience.
- Experience with C++11 or later and applying software development best practices.
- Preferred qualifications include 5+ years of production software experience, embedded Linux/POSIX development, production software testing and delivery, safety-critical development, embedded build systems, sensor development, networking, ROS or other robotics middleware, additional programming languages, and QNX or VxWorks.
