Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new features based on internal and external requirements.
- Understand and work with the Avaloq Core Banking Platform and its related business areas.
- Perform maintenance tasks including root cause analysis, bug fixing, and code optimization.
- Provide technical assistance to customers and business analysts.
- Work closely with technology vendors, infrastructure providers, and the software development division.
- Complete training toward Avaloq Certified Customization Professional certification.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
- For mid-to-senior-level applications, at least 3–5 years of relevant experience in a Core Banking system or similar environment.
- Experience with one or more high-level programming languages is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and a systematic approach to problem solving.
- Quality-conscious, self-motivated, and goal-oriented working style.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, including proficient spoken and written English.
- Openness to learning and willingness to undergo Avaloq certification training.
- Exposure to customer communication management systems or document management systems is a bonus.
- Familiarity with information security concepts is a bonus.
