Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and maintain software applications.
- Develop backend software using .NET Core and C#.
- Contribute to AI development initiatives and integrate AI-driven features into applications.
- Use GitHub Copilot and other modern tools to improve productivity and code quality.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related program.
- Fourth-year student preferred; third-year students with relevant experience will be considered.
- Experience with React, .NET Core, and C#.
- Experience with AI development concepts and frameworks.
- Knowledge of GitHub and version control best practices.
- Located in Ottawa and able to work in a hybrid arrangement.
- Strong verbal and written communication, attention to detail, time management, and planning skills.
- Preferred qualifications include exposure to GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted coding tools, object-oriented design and design patterns, code management/build/test tools, strong problem-solving skills, and willingness to learn additional languages and frameworks.
