Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and optimize high-performance Android applications.
- Collaborate with backend and design teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Conduct code reviews and improve code quality and performance.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues.
- Stay current with Android development trends, tools, and technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members to deliver software solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Five years of experience developing and deploying Android applications.
- Strong Kotlin knowledge and a passion for native development.
- Experience with modern Android frameworks, async/await, RESTful APIs, and OAuth2 authentication.
- Understanding of Android design principles and Human Interface Guidelines.
- Experience writing unit and UI tests using Mockito and similar tools.
- In-depth experience with a map SDK such as MapLibre, Apple Maps, Google Maps, ESRI, or similar.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to emerging technologies and development methodologies.
