Responsibilities
- Analyze product requirements, assess technical feasibility, estimate effort, and develop solutions with the Product Team.
- Build maintainable and scalable Android software components and modules.
- Write unit, integration, UI, snapshot, functional, and module tests and assist with user acceptance testing.
- Document code, participate in code reviews, investigate bugs, and deliver patches and improvements.
- Monitor product development, report findings, and recommend improvements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience with strong design-pattern and algorithm fundamentals.
- Deep expertise in native Android development and experience delivering high-quality, testable code using modern mobile architectures.
- Kotlin experience is preferred; Java experience is accepted.
- Strong understanding of the Android lifecycle, including Activities and Fragments.
- Familiarity with ViewModel, LiveData, Paging, Navigation, SafeArgs, Retrofit2, RxJava2, Dagger2, modular architecture, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to design maintainable, scalable modules and contribute as a significant individual contributor.
- Experience with iOS or Flutter, Firebase, Google Maps API, Fastlane, or the Checkout.com SDK is desirable.
- Familiarity with AI tools, APIs, and machine-learning integration in mobile applications is desirable.
