Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable UI, API, backend, and mobile test automation frameworks.
- Write reusable code for test tools, automation scripts, and quality engineering solutions.
- Implement shift-left testing, CI/CD quality gates, and continuous testing practices.
- Build and execute automated tests for RESTful APIs, microservices, and integrations.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, QA, and DevOps teams to embed quality into releases.
- Investigate defects, perform root-cause analysis, and support resolution with developers.
- Contribute to performance, scalability, and reliability testing.
- Maintain documentation for test frameworks, strategies, and processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in software development and test automation.
- Strong hands-on programming skills in one or more of Java, Python, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, Pytest, and React JS.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright, Appium, and Selenium.
- Experience with Rest Assured, Playwright API Testing, and Postman.
- Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
- Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases.
- Proficiency with Git or similar tools.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development and testing tools, including Cursor IDE, LLM-based test generation, or intelligent automation.
