Responsibilities
- Design and develop software applications and platforms for banking, markets, and other business functions.
- Build and automate scalable solutions in collaboration with trading, sales, asset management, banking, finance, and other business partners.
- Apply data structures, algorithms, performance optimization, and software design practices to solve complex problems.
- Contribute to engineering areas such as data engineering, machine learning, networking, developer tooling, and collaboration platforms.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, data scientists, cloud engineers, and global stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 1 year of software development experience.
- Strong object-oriented or functional analysis and design skills, with knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and performance-oriented design.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to solve problems using data-driven analysis.
- Experience with at least one of Java, C++, or Python, including concurrency and memory management.
- Experience with responsive web development using React, Angular, Redux, and advanced JavaScript, or with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Elasticsearch.
- Preferred: knowledge or interest in front-office trading technologies and a B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or a related field.
