Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance Java backend services, APIs, and microservices.
  • Implement features based on business and technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with product managers, frontend developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code and participate in code reviews.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production and non-production issues.
  • Design and implement integrations with internal and external systems.
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and event-driven solutions.
  • Monitor application performance and contribute to reliability, scalability, and observability.
  • Support improvements to architecture, development processes, and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Experience developing backend applications using Java.
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming, Clean Code, SOLID principles, and software design patterns.
  • Experience with Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem.
  • Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems concepts.
  • Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
  • Familiarity with Kafka and RabbitMQ.
  • Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
  • Knowledge of unit and integration testing practices and frameworks.
  • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Understanding of logging, monitoring, metrics, and observability concepts.
  • Intermediate English skills.
  • Nice-to-have experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, MongoDB, Redis, Terraform, CloudFormation, New Relic, Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, Python, or other scripting languages.
