Base Salary
$300k - $484k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide thought leadership on AI and LLM technologies and influence technical and business decision makers
- Advise founders, infrastructure leaders, and research leads on AI adoption, architecture, best practices, and industry trends
- Lead deep-dive architecture reviews and design engagements for high-throughput, hyperscale AI workloads
- Identify emerging AI-native technology shifts and communicate them to Datadog Product Management
- Co-create custom observability integrations and solutions with Product Solutions Architecture
- Collaborate with Product Solutions Architecture, Sales, Sales Engineering, and Marketing on technical resources
- Assist leadership with recruiting and hiring talent for Product Solutions Architecture and Field CTO teams
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience with at-scale distributed systems architecture, high-performance computing, or large-scale infrastructure
- Deep familiarity with the AI/LLM ecosystem, accelerator hardware such as GPUs and TPUs, and modern orchestration frameworks
- Deep hands-on understanding of AI/LLM operations and LLM observability
- Experience influencing elite individual contributors, research scientists, and technical founders
- Excellent customer-facing presentation, verbal communication, and written communication skills
- Ability to connect technical capabilities to business objectives, value realization, and ROI
- Ability to travel by automobile, train, or air up to 50% of the time
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field required; master’s degree preferred
