Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain camera data pipelines on AuterionOS, including streaming, multi-sensor synchronization, and pipeline architecture.
  • Develop features, resolve bugs, write tests, and optimize software components running on AuterionOS.
  • Collaborate with the Computer Vision, hardware development, and customer-facing teams.
  • Ensure products operate reliably on platforms used by internal and external customers.
  • Propose software solutions and own their implementation.
  • Contribute to internal documentation and the public knowledge base.
  • Participate in stand-ups and release planning.

Requirements

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience writing object-oriented C++ and/or Python code.
  • Extensive experience with embedded architectures, including cross-compilation, debugging, and performance optimization.
  • Strong Linux fundamentals, including kernel basics, systemd, device drivers, device tree, and U-Boot bootloaders.
  • Comfort managing Docker environments and Debian packaging.
  • Experience with video streaming technologies such as MIPI CSI and GStreamer.
  • Electrical engineering experience and familiarity with schematics and I2C, SPI, UART, and CAN bus instrumentation are bonuses.
  • Experience with NXP i.MX, NVIDIA Jetson, or ROS1/ROS2 is a bonus.
  • Product-oriented, hands-on mindset with eagerness to drive project initiatives and collaborate across the organization.
