Responsibilities
- Develop the front end of the visual-inertial odometry algorithmic stack.
- Implement frame and stereo-pair matching, camera intrinsic and extrinsic calibration, and obstruction detection.
- Implement and optimize algorithms for embedded platforms.
- Test and validate algorithms in simulation and real-world environments.
- Develop inspection and monitoring tools.
- Collaborate with system engineers, optical engineers, and software engineers and communicate findings to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Robotics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong mathematical foundations and coding skills in Python and C++.
- Hands-on experience with VIO projects.
- Passion for computer vision and robotics.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and communicate findings clearly.
- PhD and experience with VIO on industrial products are preferred.
