Responsibilities
- Interface with key stakeholders and participate across requirements elicitation, application architecture, and software design.
- Create architecture and high-level design artifacts and evaluate technical feasibility.
- Identify effective technical approaches for client requirements.
- Guide the technical team and coordinate communication between clients and offshore teams.
- Develop and support Scala-based microservices and related application technologies.
Requirements
- Strong Scala programming skills with a core functional programming focus.
- Experience with microservices, Akka, Play, Lagom, and Elasticsearch.
- Strong data structure, algorithm, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using GitHub Copilot for productivity improvement and working with Agile teams.
- Preferred experience with Kafka, AMQP, MQ, AMPS, distributed systems, JavaScript, AngularJS, Bootstrap, REST API design, DDD, CQRS, event-sourced systems, banking or middle/back-office operations, Bash, Python, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Docker, Scala libraries, frameworks, and Category Theory.
- Strong analytical, communication, customer-orientation, initiative, flexibility, and quality-awareness skills.
