Responsibilities
- Provision and operate Azure environments from sandbox through demo using Terraform or Bicep and GitHub Actions.
- Prototype secure, isolated execution of custom agents and agent-generated code with Azure Container Apps Dynamic Sessions and ACA Sandboxes.
- Design reusable infrastructure modules and patterns for Azure Container Apps, networking, identity, and environment lifecycle.
- Create workflows for deployment, environment promotion, security scanning, and environment cleanup.
- Use GitHub Copilot, custom Copilot agents, and agentic workflows while helping define safe infrastructure-team adoption practices.
- Co-author Copilot instructions, skills, and agents for the Infrastructure and Platform supply chain.
- Write technical and functional documentation and present demonstrations to Avanade stakeholders.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, stakeholders, and experienced professionals from ideation through delivery.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a computer science or related program at a college or university.
- Hands-on cloud experience building and deploying resources, preferably with Microsoft Azure; comparable AWS or Google Cloud experience may be accepted with motivation to transfer skills to Azure.
- At least one end-to-end cloud project beyond following tutorials, with experience in application hosting, containers, storage, identity, or networking.
- Experience provisioning cloud resources with Terraform or Bicep, including reusable modules, variables or parameters, state management where applicable, and environment-specific configuration.
- Docker fundamentals and interest in Azure Container Apps, Dynamic Sessions, and ACA Sandboxes.
- Fundamental knowledge of Azure networking, including VNets, subnets, private endpoints, DNS, and firewall rules.
- Basic cloud security knowledge, including managed identities, Key Vault, RBAC, and least-privilege access.
- Experience with CI/CD technologies such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or YAML pipelines.
- Scripting and automation experience with Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
- Git-based workflow and pull-request collaboration experience on GitHub.
- Interest in GitHub Copilot, coding agents, and agentic workflows; prior agentic experience is not required.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in an international environment; English, French, and/or Flemish are relevant languages.
