Responsibilities
- Own projects end to end from ideation and design through analysis and implementation.
- Train, evaluate, and deploy machine learning models for business-critical problems.
- Explore model architectures, improve training data, develop evaluation methods and feedback signals, and identify optimization opportunities.
- Understand, visualize, monitor, and optimize production system performance.
- Stay current with relevant tools and research and collaborate with Google Research and DeepMind.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of software development experience in C++ and Python.
- At least 3 years of experience with deep learning, reinforcement learning, generative AI, or another ML specialization.
- At least 3 years of experience with ML infrastructure, including model deployment, model evaluation, data processing, or debugging.
- At least 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products and at least 1 year of software design and architecture experience.
- Preferred: Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
- Preferred: experience developing accessible technologies and experience with machine learning, data science, statistics, natural language processing, or computer vision.
