Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality Java frameworks and tools for Shift-Left automation.
- Build new features and enhancements using Java, microservices, and REST APIs.
- Debug complex software issues and optimize application performance through code improvements and refactoring.
- Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to understand and prioritize requirements.
- Partner with configuration specialists and software engineers to meet team standards.
- Own and remain accountable for specific framework and tool components.
- Collaborate with development teams working on applications and microservices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement within an agile environment.
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of hands-on Java development experience with associated frameworks such as JEE, Spring, OSGi, or Angular.
- Experience with REST APIs and message-based systems such as XML and JSON.
- Ability to analyze and solve complex challenges in a collaborative team environment.
- Comfort communicating with stakeholders and collaborating across teams.
- Strong written and spoken English skills.
- Experience with Avaloq Banking System is preferred.
- Experience with Cypress, Selenium, Appium, Jest, Gatlin, LoadRunner, or JMeter is preferred.
- Knowledge of Oracle database architecture is preferred.
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines is preferred.
- Experience with cloud architecture concepts and platforms such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, AWS, or Azure is preferred.
- Practical experience using open-source libraries and tools in development projects is preferred.
