Responsibilities
- Develop responsive SAPUI5 interfaces using MVC architecture, component-based patterns, and standard UI5 application structures.
- Customize UI5 applications with JavaScript, JSON, CSS, and Git-based source control practices.
- Implement OData data flows, service mocking, client-side models, bindings, and scalable enterprise data interactions.
- Embed LLM-powered, retrieval-grounded, and tool-augmented AI experiences into SAP UI flows with safe action boundaries and deterministic fallbacks.
- Build automated UI test coverage using unit and acceptance testing approaches, including QUnit and OPA-style patterns.
- Apply SAP Fiori design principles and choose appropriately between SAPUI5 and OpenUI5 for enterprise delivery constraints.
- Prototype, demonstrate, and iterate with business stakeholders before hardening solutions for production with observability and regression testing for UI and AI behavior.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience is required.
- Strong hands-on SAPUI5 development and enterprise UI engineering experience.
- Mastery of MVC architecture, responsive UI construction, and component-driven development in SAPUI5.
- Implementation experience with OData and service mocking for development and testing workflows.
- Strong JavaScript, JSON, CSS, and Git skills.
- Experience designing AI-native UX with LLM behaviors, grounding, tool use, user confirmation, and evaluation loops.
- Familiarity with SAP Fiori design principles and the SAPUI5 and OpenUI5 ecosystem.
- Understanding of UI testing approaches including QUnit and OPA-style acceptance testing.
- Completion of 15 years of full-time education is required.
