Responsibilities
- Design and build modern web applications and user experiences for AI-driven product discovery, search, recommendation, and personalization.
- Own feature delivery end to end from design and development through deployment.
- Develop reusable UI components and frontend applications using React and modern web technologies.
- Integrate frontend applications with APIs, microservices, backend services, and enterprise platforms.
- Contribute to backend services and integration layers using Java, Spring Boot, and related architectures.
- Collaborate with AI/ML, data, backend, product, design, and engineering teams.
- Improve application performance, accessibility, scalability, reliability, and user experience.
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and engineering best-practice activities.
- Use AI-assisted engineering tools and practices to improve productivity and software quality.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience building modern web applications and digital consumer experiences.
- Strong experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and modern frontend development practices.
- Experience building responsive, scalable, high-performing web applications with a focus on usability and user experience.
- Experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs, microservices, and backend platforms.
- Good understanding of backend development with Java, Spring Boot, API design, and microservices architecture.
- Desirable experience with Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, Azure AI Search, or similar search platforms.
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, Redis, Kafka, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience building and deploying applications on Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Understanding of system design, application performance, observability, reliability, and operational excellence.
- Strong collaboration experience across product, design, engineering, data, and AI teams.
- Exposure to AI/ML, Generative AI, LLMs, conversational experiences, or AI-powered applications is a plus.
