Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, document, and maintain responsive web-based applications.
- Build front-end interfaces using Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS/Sass.
- Develop and optimize Oracle SQL queries, PL/SQL procedures, packages, functions, and database objects.
- Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and back-end services.
- Participate in software design, code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, production support, and L3 application support.
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, developers, QA teams, and other stakeholders.
- Maintain source code with Git and support CI/CD deployment processes using Gradle and Jenkins.
- Investigate and resolve application and database performance issues.
- Support application deployments and troubleshooting in Linux environments.
- Apply software development best practices, security standards, coding guidelines, automation, and monitoring practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum three years of professional experience.
- Advanced proficiency with Java 8+, Spring Boot, RESTful API development, Git, Gradle, Jenkins, Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS/Sass, Node.js, and npm.
- Experience with Oracle SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, relational database management systems, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Experience handling Java-based applications and performing software design, development, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Linux, GraphQL, Liquibase, Spring JPA, and Spring Security.
- Familiarity with software development best practices, version control systems, CI/CD concepts, and cross-functional delivery.
- Strong programming, analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and continuous-learning skills.
- Full professional fluency in written and spoken English.
- Avaloq, wealth management, private banking, application support, incident management, service operations, CLM, AML, KYC, onboarding, cloud environments, containerization, automation, monitoring, Unix, or Python experience is advantageous.
- JMS, Kafka, OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Docker experience is a plus.
