Base Salary
$100k - $115k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the migration, integration, and enterprise adoption of Snyk and Codewise security platforms.
- Design and implement scalable architecture for application security tooling across development and DevSecOps environments.
- Configure, manage, and optimize Snyk Code, Snyk Open Source, Snyk Container, and related scanning services.
- Develop Python automation frameworks for vulnerability management, remediation workflows, and security operations.
- Build API-based integrations with Snyk and Codewise.
- Integrate security controls, scanning tools, and policy enforcement into CI/CD pipelines.
- Partner with Application Security, Development, Platform Engineering, and DevOps teams to improve secure software delivery.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and best-practice guidance to engineers.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, operational standards, implementation guides, and architectural artifacts.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Security Engineering, Application Security, DevSecOps, or related cybersecurity roles.
- Expert-level Python proficiency for automation, scripting, integration development, and security tooling.
- Deep hands-on experience configuring, administering, onboarding, and deploying Snyk at enterprise scale.
- Experience with Codewise or similar application security and code analysis platforms.
- Strong understanding of secure software development, vulnerability management, DevSecOps, cloud-native development, container security, software supply chain security, and application security.
- Experience integrating security tools into CI/CD pipelines and building API-based automation solutions.
- Proven experience leading technical initiatives, mentoring engineers, and influencing security engineering practices.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, architecture, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with GitHub, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab, or similar development and CI/CD platforms is preferred.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CSSLP, GWAPT, Security+, or equivalent are a plus.
