Responsibilities
- Represent Security by running threat modeling sessions, performing vulnerability tests, conducting risk analyses and security assessments, and supporting incident handling.
- Implement and maintain cloud security best practices in Azure environments.
- Help build monitoring and alerting systems and provide visibility, detection, mitigation, and observability capabilities for SaaS platforms.
- Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations, including conducting regular security assessments and risk analyses.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior team members, support security initiatives, and contribute to the Security Guild.
- Automate infrastructure validation and deployment processes and avoid manual production changes.
Requirements
- Minimum three years of experience in a similar role running workloads on public cloud.
- Deep understanding of cloud security infrastructure, cloud-native technologies, and desired-state configuration, preferably using Terraform.
- Experience with Zero-Trust architecture, defensible security architecture, security processes, incident management, vulnerability management, threat modeling, logging and monitoring, and SIEM.
- Knowledge of controls and requirements associated with standards such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2.
- Proficiency with Helm Charts and Kubernetes and familiarity with PagerDuty or similar incident response platforms.
- Experience monitoring SaaS platforms using Datadog, Azure Monitoring, or AWS APM.
- Excellent English communication skills and an automation-first approach.
- Azure Administrator or Azure Solution Architect certifications are preferred.
