Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise authentication infrastructure primarily using Java and Keycloak.
- Build and scale high-concurrency authorization microservices using Go and Kotlin.
- Develop secure, responsive React applications and administrative dashboards for identity workflows.
- Maintain internal .NET SDKs and create Python automation for onboarding, authorization checks, and operations.
- Package, deploy, and scale microservices with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
- Implement OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, RBAC/ABAC, observability, and other modern security patterns.
- Participate in architecture reviews, knowledge sharing, monitoring, and reliability practices.
Requirements
- Commercial backend engineering experience with a strong primary focus on Java and comfort with Go and Kotlin.
- Hands-on experience with identity protocols including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and SAML.
- Experience with Keycloak or comparable custom/open-source identity providers.
- Hands-on React experience or willingness to work with React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Production experience operating services with Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS cloud services.
- Familiarity with .NET for client SDK maintenance and Python for automation and tooling.
- Comfort using AI coding assistants and maintaining an operational mindset focused on monitoring and reliability.
