Base Salary
$177k - $265k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of high-volume, low-latency enterprise applications as a Java and Angular full-stack architect.
- Drive modernization of legacy monolithic systems, including WebLogic-based systems, into cloud-native microservices or hybrid architectures.
- Provide technical leadership on microservices architecture, Domain-Driven Design, distributed processing, database design, messaging, and data architecture.
- Analyze business processes and existing architectures, gather requirements, create technical designs and user stories, and evaluate architectural trade-offs.
- Lead application development, design and implementation reviews, performance tuning, testing strategy, test automation, and production readiness.
- Mentor and coach developers, analysts, and new team members; allocate work, lead code reviews, and promote technical best practices.
- Engage senior leaders, business stakeholders, technology groups, and external parties to align technology roadmaps with business strategies.
- Work with production support teams to resolve critical issues, improve system stability, address bottlenecks, and manage operational risk.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience; a master’s degree is preferred.
- 10+ years of relevant applications development experience involving Java, Angular, and relational databases.
- Proven experience leading complex technical projects, large-budget implementations, and global or matrixed technology teams.
- Subject matter expertise in applications development, systems analysis, and programming sophisticated software applications.
- Deep expertise in full-stack Java and Angular development and modern frameworks and ecosystems.
- Practical experience with microservices architecture, Domain-Driven Design, distributed processing, concurrency, parallel computing, and fault tolerance.
- Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, advanced SQL, data modeling, performance tuning, and optimization.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka, MQ, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with legacy-to-modern transformation patterns such as strangler patterns, anti-corruption layers, and domain decomposition.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle standards, agile methodologies, testing, leadership, project management, stakeholder communication, and consensus building.

- Base salary range of $176,720.00 to $265,080.00, plus potential discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
