Responsibilities
- Design and implement solutions to improve the availability and resiliency of Salesloft services.
- Define and implement SLIs and SLOs to improve operational maturity and accelerate failure detection and isolation.
- Participate in incident response, retrospectives, and initiatives to improve user experience.
- Build and manage critical third-party services in the software stack.
- Design fault-tolerant systems and disaster recovery capabilities while optimizing system efficiency.
- Integrate services to solve large-scale problems and ensure reliable, efficient operation.
- Collaborate with engineering partners through technical design reviews, peer reviews, and mentoring.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience building distributed systems on a public cloud such as AWS or GCP.
- Strong foundation in software application design and system internals.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers on complex technical problems.
- Experience mentoring, conducting peer reviews, and participating in technical design reviews.
