Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain tools and systems for service reliability, monitoring, and alerting.
- Contribute to the full development cycle including technical design, development, test automation, and launch.
- Collaborate with TechOps and engineering teams to ensure services are designed with reliability in mind.
- Identify and drive implementation of opportunities to improve reliability, scalability, and efficiency.
- Illustrate operational excellence with a focus on quality, reliability, and availability.
- Continuously evaluate new technologies and best practices to enhance reliability and incident response.
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant software development experience in a fast-paced tech environment.
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with experience working across engineering teams.
- Strong expertise in building large-scale backend systems and user-facing features.
- Proven experience in creating well-designed user experiences.
- Flexible leadership style adaptable to various working situations.
- Experience leading and shipping large initiatives with significant business impact.
- Good judgment in balancing short-term business needs with long-term technical quality.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin.
