Base Salary
$175k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Advise executives and domain leaders on technology strategy and align investments with business outcomes.
- Maintain architectural metadata and taxonomy integrity within the BlueDolphin repository.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Security teams to drive shared outcomes.
- Mentor solution architects across federated business domains.
- Translate architectural strategy into business narratives for executive and technical audiences.
- Lead modernization, platform-thinking, and integration initiatives across Commerce, Payments, Ticketing, and Entitlements.
- Facilitate short-term versus long-term architectural trade-offs and track technical debt decisions.
- Define and apply metadata models, taxonomy relationships, governance frameworks, architecture patterns, and standards.
- Lead cross-domain architectural initiatives, guide decision processes, and support complex enterprise project planning.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and make strategic recommendations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of increasing responsibility in architecture-oriented roles.
- 5+ years of experience as an Enterprise Architect.
- 8+ years of software engineering experience across multiple front-end and back-end languages and technologies.
- Expertise with enterprise architecture repository tools such as BlueDolphin or LeanIX.
- Strong leadership and mentoring experience with architecture teams.
- Proven ability to influence without authority across technical and business domains and communicate effectively with executives and technical teams.
- Experience with metadata models, taxonomy relationships, governance, architecture review boards, strategic objectives, OKRs, and scorecards.
- Hands-on familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, API-led integration, security-by-design, and data architecture principles.
- Experience integrating emerging platforms, modernizing legacy systems at scale, and shaping scalable enterprise architectures.
- Preferred: 6+ years supporting commerce, payments, ticketing, or entitlements domains.
- Preferred: advanced degree such as an MBA or MS, platform-oriented or product-led organization experience, API design and messaging standards experience, SaaS integration experience, architecture maturity model familiarity, and TOGAF, ArchiMate, or equivalent certification.
- Preferred: 8+ years working with cloud vendors and 8+ years working with relational and non-relational databases.
