Responsibilities
- Define desired quality levels based on product vision, business strategy, and organizational status.
- Establish the first Vietnamese QA team, including QA systems, processes, hiring, and training.
- Develop test strategies and lead test planning, test design, and test execution.
- Review product specifications from a quality perspective and propose improvements.
- Promote automated and manual testing throughout the software delivery process.
- Identify quality-related issues and plan and promote initiatives to address them.
- Collaborate with Vietnamese development and Japanese QA organizations to establish an effective QA system.
Requirements
- Experience leading the formulation and execution of QA strategies.
- Fluent English communication skills in a business setting.
- Experience developing and conducting QA for large-scale systems spanning multiple teams is preferred.
- Experience designing test processes using standards such as ISTQB and ISO29119 and implementing them in development organizations is preferred.
- Experience managing people in QA teams is preferred.
- Experience performing QA in organizations using agile development is preferred.
- Ability to engage management and development stakeholders from a broad perspective and take proactive ownership of fundamental issues.
