Responsibilities
- Design, write, and maintain high-efficiency C++ software components for core video analytics libraries.
- Port and optimize algorithms, memory allocation, and hardware usage across embedded platforms, edge AI systems, smart cameras, and SOCs.
- Build low-latency, real-time video processing pipelines integrated with GStreamer.
- Collaborate with AI engineers to optimize and deploy deep learning and computer vision models in production edge environments.
- Debug memory leaks, multithreading and concurrency issues, system bottlenecks, and latency spikes.
- Optimize resource-constrained system software and support video analytics across diverse embedded hardware platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in software engineering, computer science, or a relevant field.
- At least 6 years of professional C++ development experience, including C++11, C++14, or C++17.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Linux and Embedded Linux environments.
- Deep understanding of memory management, multithreading, concurrency, and performance profiling.
- Practical experience with computer vision and image processing libraries such as OpenCV and TensorRT.
- A proven track record of debugging and optimizing resource-constrained system software.
- Preferred: deep experience with GStreamer and video codecs including H.264, H.265, and RTSP.
- Preferred: experience optimizing software for hardware accelerators and SOCs such as Nvidia Jetson, Ambarella, Qualcomm, and NXP.
- Preferred: familiarity with CUDA and OpenCL hardware acceleration APIs.
