Responsibilities
- Develop software stacks across Arm Cortex-A, Cortex-R, and Cortex-M cores on R-Car and RZ SoCs.
- Design and develop AI-based robotic applications on R-Car and RZ SoCs.
- Integrate AI/ML models with NPU, DSP, and GPU hardware accelerators.
- Implement real-time control algorithms and robotics middleware using ROS2 and Linux.
- Validate robotics algorithms in simulation before deployment on real robots.
- Integrate computer vision capabilities including image processing, object detection, tracking, and perception pipelines.
Requirements
- Program applications and middleware on Linux and ROS2.
- Proficiency in C, C++, and Python.
- Strong understanding of core robotics algorithms.
- Experience with computer vision for robotics, including image processing, object detection, tracking, and perception.
- Familiarity with OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar libraries and frameworks.
- Knowledge or experience with reinforcement learning applied to robotics.
- Robotics simulation experience with tools such as Gazebo or Isaac Sim is advantageous.
- Hands-on experience with microcontrollers and low-level hardware control is preferred.
- Understanding of mechanical systems and sensors in robotics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
