Responsibilities
- Develop clean, maintainable, performant, and accessible UI code using React.js, ES6+, and TypeScript.
- Design and contribute to scalable, modular frontend architectures, reusable component libraries, and design systems.
- Lead and participate in peer code reviews while enforcing high-quality UI standards.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, QA, Backend Engineers, and global technical teams to deliver robust user-facing features.
- Translate product and business requirements into functional, responsive, and aesthetically effective frontend solutions.
- Own complex UI projects, mentor junior developers, and promote frontend best practices.
- Evaluate emerging frontend technologies and tools to improve productivity and product quality.
- Participate in sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, backlog grooming, and other Agile activities.
- Debug and troubleshoot browser compatibility and frontend performance issues.
- Align technical solutions with business objectives and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of total professional experience and 6 years of frontend development experience building scalable web or mobile applications.
- At least 3 years of experience with JavaScript, including ES6+ features, and hands-on TypeScript development.
- At least 3 years of experience building React.js applications with hooks, context, lazy loading, and code splitting.
- Familiarity with Redux, Webpack, Babel, ESLint, Prettier, and modern frontend toolchains.
- Strong understanding of mobile-first and responsive web design.
- Experience with user behavior analytics tools such as Heap or error monitoring with Sentry.
- Experience with frontend testing libraries such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress is a plus.
- Expertise with Git and GitHub or GitLab, including branching strategies, pull requests, and merge-conflict resolution.
- Exposure to frontend CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Vercel, or Netlify.
- Strong experience with Agile/Scrum software development practices and tools such as Jira or Trello.
- Proven ability to mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
- React Native experience is a strong plus.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Vue, Svelte, Python FastAPI, GraphQL, Lighthouse, and Core Web Vitals is beneficial.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, debugging, troubleshooting, interpersonal, and communication skills.
