Base Salary
$161k - $217k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, testing, debugging, and maintenance of embedded software for specialized devices and systems.
- Translate customer requirements into embedded software product designs and lead software code reviews.
- Lead integration of embedded software with hardware components and advise on software-hardware integration.
- Analyze, monitor, and improve the efficiency and stability of embedded software systems.
- Research and implement relevant emerging technologies, tools, frameworks, and regulatory changes.
- Lead software testing, debugging, internal and supplier team evaluation, compliance tracking, and embedded software project management activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 9+ years of experience with embedded systems and/or software development using C or C++.
- 3+ years of experience with software used on air vehicle, avionics, weapons, or mission systems.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required by the U.S. Government.
- Preferred qualifications include a Level 4 engineering, science, mathematics, data science, or computer science degree with 9+ years of related experience, or a bachelor’s degree with 13+ years of directly related experience, or 17+ years of related experience.
- Preferred experience includes Agile product development, aerospace, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, JIRA, GitLab, Ansible, Artifactory, UML, SysML, Cameo, MSOSA, and automated testing.
- Secret clearance and the ability to obtain access to Special Access Programs are preferred.
