Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for software, middleware, and hardware projects across multiple platforms.
- Lead architecture, development, implementation, integration, and approval of technical solutions and deliverables.
- Apply backend development expertise to improve performance, secure architecture, database efficiency, scalability, and resilience.
- Troubleshoot complex system issues, perform root cause analysis, and optimize data flow across services and APIs.
- Oversee functional, performance, security, and automated testing activities.
- Review, author, and approve technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and enterprise standards.
- Serve as a technical liaison with stakeholders and communicate technical implications, risks, and solution strategies.
- Mentor team members, establish technical standards, and drive continuous improvement and adoption of emerging technologies.
- Ensure compliance with IT and information security policies and applicable internal and external requirements.
- Monitor and refine observability dashboards and contribute to cross-functional and special projects.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in software development, architecture, and system integration.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT, B.E./B.Tech, Bachelor’s in Computer Applications, or a Master’s in Computer Applications.
- Expert programming skills in Java, Spring Boot, and Python, with additional experience in Angular and Node.js.
- Expert knowledge of AWS services, including DynamoDB, S3, ECS, Route 53, Athena, Lambda, Step Functions, SNS, SQS, CloudFormation, IAM, Bedrock, and Fargate.
- Expertise in API security, including OAuth, Okta, and JWTs.
- Expertise in software architecture, event-driven architecture, system design, and technical leadership for enterprise applications.
- Experience with observability concepts and tools, including Splunk, Honeycomb, OpenTelemetry, and CloudWatch.
- Experience with TDD, BDD, test automation, and Cucumber.
- Ability to use and mentor others on AI-assisted engineering tools such as Claude Code and GitHub Copilot.
- Experience mentoring teams, establishing technical standards, driving process improvement, and managing stakeholder relationships.
- Hands-on experience with Confluence, Jira, monitoring, dashboards, and workflow refinement.
- AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS Solutions Architect, or AWS Solution Consultant certification is desired.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to influence technical decisions.
