Responsibilities
- Identify and continuously resolve customers’ DevOps challenges.
- Guide customer development teams and support successful, sustainable project and organizational outcomes.
- Understand business requirements and support the architecture and implementation of suitable solutions using Red Hat and partner cloud and DevOps solutions.
- Collaborate with Product Engineering, Business Development, Consulting, Support, and Sales teams to deliver strong customer experiences.
- Advise customers on technology roadmaps as a trusted senior advisor.
- Promote Red Hat services, products, and case studies to existing and prospective customers and contribute to account expansion and new customer acquisition.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering experience covering requirements definition, design, implementation, testing, and operations for web services, mission-critical systems, and CI/CD.
- Experience and knowledge of development and operations using generative AI sufficient to lead customers.
- Experience and enthusiasm for leading engineers or serving as a technical consultant to solve organizational or customer technical challenges.
- Experience teaching and coaching development members and teams, including transforming development organizations or processes.
- Consulting fundamentals including logical thinking, problem solving, analysis, document preparation, presentation, facilitation, and negotiation.
- A track record of building trusted relationships with executives and managers in an organization or customer environment.
- Foundational knowledge and practical experience with Agile and Scrum development.
- Basic written and spoken English communication skills.
- Passion for open source technologies.
- Experience using container-based technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Red Hat OpenShift is preferred.
