Responsibilities

  • Establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team.
  • Gather functional and non-functional requirements, design solutions, perform code reviews, test applications, and deploy them in accordance with Citi policies.
  • Develop and maintain a suite of Cash Equities applications.
  • Establish coding, testing, debugging, and implementation standards.
  • Coordinate delivery, investigate production incidents, and participate in L2/L3 support activities.
  • Develop technical solutions that address business requirements, non-functional requirements, recommended technologies, and internal policies.
  • Build strong working relationships with local and global technology teams and the local business.
  • Assess and manage risk, comply with applicable laws and policies, and escalate and report control issues transparently.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in Java.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux, relational databases, and scripting languages.
  • In-depth knowledge of stock market trading and the FIX protocol.
  • Proven experience with front- and middle-office systems.
  • Understanding of microservices architecture.
  • Bachelor’s or university degree in Computer Science.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience working effectively with remote teams across different time zones.
  • Experience with Spring Boot, Solace, AMPS, and GitHub is preferred.
