Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop real-time embedded software controlling satellite flight, guidance, navigation, and maneuvering across all mission phases.
- Build ground-based applications that predict orbital state, monitor collision risks, and optimize constellation maneuver planning.
- Create modeling and simulation software to validate GNC algorithms and support system-level testing and integration.
- Troubleshoot issues across satellite integration, manufacturing, and flight operations to ensure end-to-end system performance.
- Develop and maintain the infrastructure, tools, and documentation used to build, test, deploy, and operate GNC software at scale.
- Participate in software projects, design prototyping, component and satellite testing, and flight operations.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Preferred experience with Python and Rust.
- Familiarity with or strong interest in aerospace, robotics, controls, or dynamical-systems domains.
- Preferred guidance, navigation, and control development experience.
- Familiarity with spacecraft flight disciplines including structures, propulsion, avionics, GNC, flight software, dynamics, launch and mission operations, and integration is highly desired.
- Ability to work iteratively and take ownership end-to-end.
