Base Salary

$144k - $194k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop real-time embedded software controlling satellite flight, guidance, navigation, and maneuvering across all mission phases.
  • Build ground-based applications that predict orbital state, monitor collision risks, and optimize constellation maneuver planning.
  • Create modeling and simulation software to validate GNC algorithms and support system-level testing and integration.
  • Troubleshoot issues across satellite integration, manufacturing, and flight operations to ensure end-to-end system performance.
  • Develop and maintain the infrastructure, tools, and documentation used to build, test, deploy, and operate GNC software at scale.
  • Participate in software projects, design prototyping, component and satellite testing, and flight operations.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Preferred experience with Python and Rust.
  • Familiarity with or strong interest in aerospace, robotics, controls, or dynamical-systems domains.
  • Preferred guidance, navigation, and control development experience.
  • Familiarity with spacecraft flight disciplines including structures, propulsion, avionics, GNC, flight software, dynamics, launch and mission operations, and integration is highly desired.
  • Ability to work iteratively and take ownership end-to-end.
