Software Engineer III (Python/AWS)
JPMorgan ChaseResponsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, scalable software solutions using Python and AWS.
- Create architecture and design deliverables and integrate AI/ML solutions into complex domain-specific operations processing systems.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, agile planning, and software engineering communities of practice.
- Collaborate with SRE and production monitoring teams to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Use software development lifecycle tools and enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation capabilities.
- Analyze large and diverse datasets to identify patterns and drive improvements to application coding hygiene and system architecture.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, operational stability, and Python application development.
- Understanding of software development best practices, version control, testing, and CI/CD.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database querying languages.
- Familiarity with MLOps and experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools.
- Ability to evaluate and refine AI-generated outputs and follow responsible AI practices involving data sensitivity, secure handling, resiliency, and security.
- Preferred experience with cloud services, infrastructure as code, containerized applications, relational databases, Kubernetes, AWS services, Kafka, LLMOps, AI/ML systems, or collaboration with data scientists.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and stakeholder communication skills.
