Base Salary
$148k - $264k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, configure, and debug AI agents and integrations in complex enterprise tenant environments.
- Lead technical discovery with customer leaders and translate ambiguous requirements into configurations, proofs of concept, and integration specifications.
- Analyze field telemetry, edge-case failures, and recurring customer friction to influence product roadmaps and engineering backlogs.
- Convert custom engagement solutions into standardized, automated, out-of-the-box product capabilities.
- Own strategically important customer engagements from kickoff through graduation within standard six-month deployment cycles.
- Advise Workday Services leads, AI Deployment Architects, Account Teams, and customer executives, while mentoring other FDEs.
Requirements
- Senior candidates must have 7+ years of experience in Forward Deployed Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Technical Consulting, or Software Development.
- Principal candidates must have 10+ years of experience in Forward Deployed Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Technical Consulting, or Software Development.
- Hands-on coding and debugging skills with knowledge of Python, Java or similar languages, REST APIs, object-oriented design, and integration patterns; Principal candidates additionally need knowledge of system architecture.
- Knowledge of Workday business processes, security and permissions, tenant configuration, integrations, and customer implementation and governance.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% to customer sites.
