Responsibilities
- Own SIEM alerting end to end, including log collection, detection-rule development and tuning, and false-positive reduction.
- Respond to security incidents, investigate and contain threats, drive incidents to closure, and maintain clear runbooks.
- Administer identity-provider controls, access recertification, least privilege, PAM, segregation of duties, joiner-mover-leaver processes, and third-party access.
- Improve SaaS security posture and implement DLP controls across internal applications and tools.
- Maintain endpoint security, device compliance, VPN/ZTNA posture requirements, and automated remediation.
- Defend against phishing and spoofing through email controls, DMARC/SPF/DKIM, phishing simulations, and security awareness programs.
- Secure internal AI usage through shadow-AI discovery, AI-tool DLP, controls for assistants and agents, and an AI adoption risk framework.
- Build API-driven internal tooling and automation to reduce manual security operations.
- Own security roadmaps, identify gaps, lead technical initiatives independently, and influence security architecture.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in security operations, corporate or IT security, or endpoint engineering.
- Strong experience with SIEM platforms, detection engineering, and incident response.
- Experience with identity providers, access recertification, least privilege, and PAM.
- Working knowledge of MDM, XDR/EDR/AV, endpoint security, email security, and phishing defense.
- Practical experience securing internal AI usage, including shadow-AI discovery, DLP for AI tools, controls for AI assistants and agents, and AI adoption risk frameworks.
- Strong scripting and automation skills, including building tooling against APIs rather than only configuring consoles.
- Track record of independently driving improvements and leading initiatives with limited oversight.
- Clear written and spoken English for communication with engineers and leadership.
